    The Journey of Backpackers

Two years ago, I formally became a member of my company and thus became a backpacker in Jiangyin.

I call myself a backpacker not because I am traveling here, I call myself a backpacker not because I am exploring here.

In fact we can say that we are all backpackers on the long journey of the life. We are traveling throughout the life, and we are always exploring the unknown, be it good or bad.

We may do not know where our next destination is; we may have no idea what we can explore; we may be quite satisfied with what we find in the journey, or probably it turns out that we may be rather disappointed with what we have tried to get at the corner. We may settle down at one stop due to one or another reason, we may put on the backpack again and resume the journey and stop elsewhere.

Now I am on the journey of exploration.

       Now I am on the journey of realizing my dream;

Now I am on the journey with many backpackers, who have always been making endeavors to reach their destination of the dreamland.

Best wishes for all the backpackers.

    Farewell to the youth

Today one of the hottest pieces of news is that from this year on, all the people between 14 and 28 can enjoy half day off on the Youth Day,

On knowing this, I checked the calendar in no time and found that this year the youth day happens to fall on Sunday, and then I quickly checked the date of the following Youth Day.

And to my great joy that the next Youth Day is on the weekday, but this kind of exciting mode did not last long. Soon I was informed by Anny, one of my colleagues, who was born in the same year as I was, that we are already 28. So this is our last chance to celebrate the Youth Day.

To be frank, I seldom think about how old I am, I always think I am still young, but maybe now we are really stepping into the middle-age phase before we formally realize this.

Say goodbye to the past youth with an evergreen heart.

    WHO ARE WE?

A couple of weeks ago, we were organized to attend the MBTI career character test so that we can know ourselves in a better way.

According to the test, the characters can be divided into four different kinds of divisions, namely: extravert-introvert; sensing-intuition; thinking-feeling and judging-perceiving.

After the test, most of us seemed to know us better, for instance, INTP means someone may be of few words but creative, he likes thinking and being casual.

But knowing who we can does not mean we know what we want to be.

In the past I never though what I wanted to be, what I was really after…

    Now I am still wondering.

    I wonder,

I wonder until I find answers.

What is behind going back home?

Today I read an article entitled “going back home”, which aroused resonance from me.

The writer of the article, who is a white-collar working in Beijing, describes his feelings about going back home during the Spring Festival.

During his stay back at home, he had a get-together reunion dinner with his old classmates and friends, it is found out at the dinner that though his salary is the highest, he can still not afford a house in Beijing, and his classmates, who used to be less outstanding than he was, are now almost in good positions with the help of the so-called social relationship. They do not have to work under so much pressure, yet they can still enjoy a content life with spacious house and private cars.

After going back to Beijing at the end of the Spring Festival, he also has a hesitation of whether also to go back to his hometown to find a job with less pressure and to enjoy a more comfortable life. But after second thoughts, he realizes that if he goes back, he will also lose the chance of getting miscellaneous information and the excellent channels for exposure to the top-niche cultural and educational atmosphere here at Beijing.

In fact, it is not a simple question about whether to live, but a sophisticated and profound question about which kind of life to choose.
